The Scouting & Bushcraft Convention takes place at Eigeltingen

In early summer 2019 the first convention dealing with Scouting and Bushcraft topics is going to take place. We are still working on the details, but we can already give you an overview of our plans and the conditions of joining.

What is a Scouting & Bushcraft Convention?

A Convention (lat. convenire = get together, in short Con) is an event, where people with similar interests come together to meet more people who share their hobby. Some conventions are also selling related products. In this case normal products are on offer as well as specially developed things, sometimes created by fans especially for the convention. It is not always possible to distinguish a Convention from a Fair. Often shows and competitions are part of a convention.

Who is the organiser of the Scouting & Bushcraft Convention?

Jurtenland was an exhibitor on the Adventure Southside 2016, 2017 and 2018. An exhibition team, that worked very well together was formed in the process. At the end of 2018 some of the team members founded a non-profit association for organising futher exhibitions themselves. This association organises the Scouting & Bushcraft Convention without the purpose of gain.

Who do we want to adress?

Our topics should attract Scouts, Bushcrafter, people interested in wilderness and survival skills, individual tourists and anyone who deals with outdoor activities or is interested to learn more about them.

How big is the Scouting & Bushcraft Convetion going to be?

At the moment we expect 200 to 300 people. Besides Jurtenland and TimeFoRest we can accomodate 10 to 20 further exhibitors. One day the Convention will be open to the public with a -so far- unknown number of visitors.

Jurtenland is going to offer about 15 to 20 workshops. Besides any participant can offer their own workshop or lecture, so the program for the weekend should offer many choices.

When is the Scouting & Bushcraft Convention going to take place?

The first Scouting & Bushcraft Convention is planned to take place 28.-30. June 2019

Save the Date! The Scouting & Bushcraft Convention will take place in early summer 2019 from June, 28th. to June, 30th. There might be some workshops on building a multiple yurt the previous weekend.

What is the convention going to cost?

So far, we can give you no information on this question. Beeing a non-profit organisation we want to charge as little as possible.

• Jeder Teilnehmende zahlt einen festen Beitrag für die Dauer der Convention.
• Dies gilt für Teamer, Workshopleiter, Referenten, Teilnehmer usw.
• Kommerzielle Anbieter, wie Aussteller, Verkäufer, Bewirtung zahlen den gleichen Beitrag je Person, auf für Personen die sie einladen. Hinzu kommt eine Betrag in Höhe von 10% vom Umsatz (kein Umsatz = keine zusätzlichen Kosten außer dem Teilnehmerbeitrag)

Zusätzliche Kosten entstehen für Teilnehmer durch Materialkostenbeiträge für Workshops und die Verpflegung.

Verpflegungskosten sind nicht im Teilnehmerbeitrag enthalten. Teilnehmer verpflegen sich selbst oder über die Teilnahme an Workshops (gegen einen entsprechenden Kostenbeitrag) oder durch Bewirtungsangebote.

• 3 - Tages - Ticket für Erwachsene je 49,- €
  • Freitag 10 Uhr bis Sonntag 15 Uhr
  • Übernachtung im eigenen Zelt inbegriffen
  • Kostenlose Übernachtung von Donnerstag auf Freitag möglich
  • Kostenlose Stellplätze für Wohnmobile möglich
  • Es können zusätzliche Kosten für einzelne Workshops anfallen
  • Selbstverpflegung
• 3 - Tages - Ticket für Jugendliche (bis einschließlich 16 Jahre) je 24,50 €
  • Freitag 10 Uhr bis Sonntag 15 Uhr
  • Teilnehmer unter 18 Jahre benötigen eine Einverständniserklärung der Erziehungsberechtigten
  • Es können zusätzliche Kosten für einzelne Workshops anfallen
  • Selbstverpflegung
• 3 - Tages - Ticket für Kinder (bis einschließlich 6 Jahre) je 1,- €
  • Freitag 10 Uhr bis Sonntag 15 Uhr
  • Das Kinderticket gilt nur in Verbindung mit einem gleichwertigen Erwachsenen-Ticket eines Erziehungsberechtigten
  • Es können zusätzliche Kosten für einzelne Workshops anfallen
  • Selbstverpflegung

voraussichtlich wird es weitere Tickes geben für Tagesgäste und einzelne Übernachtungen

Kosten für Aussteller & Co.

Aussteller, Referenten, Vortragende usw. zahlen den normalen Ticketpreis. Es gibt keine weiteren Standgebühren. Lediglich erwarten wir von Verkäufern und Dienstleistern, welche Umsatz auf der Convention machen, eine kleine Beteiligung in Höhe von 10% des getätigten Umsatzes.

Wie kann ich mich anmelden?

Noch gibt es keine offiziellen Anmeldungen, aber wir sind dankbar für jeden, der sich bereits heute mit einer Workshop-Idee, einem Thema für einen Vortrag oder einfach nur als Teilnehmer*in bei uns meldet.
